The Chapman lighthouse

On page 5 of Heart of Darkness, the narrator describes the Chapman lighthouse. This is a link to a website about the lighthouse described, which includes pictures and a brief history. I thought the website was cool because it reminded me Conrad actually saw the places he is making the narrator describe throughout the novella. It is interesting to see a picture of the lighthouse and then look at how Conrad creates the experience of seeing the lighthouse for the readers.
